Yamaha YHT-595BL Complete 5.1-Channel Home Theater System
Now on the product itself. I had about five hours with it so far. (This is not much I know), but I was very impressed with the quality of sound. I smiled ear to ear, Casino Royale comes to life before my system is 10 years Sony Receiver 5.1-channel surround sound is starting to go, and I think it is a sub as well.
Set-up: Yamaha 595BL is easy to configure. Everything worked the first time you connect. (Except for one thing, a state below), I connected the TV directly Playstation 3 via HDMI (using five ports, HDMI), the image quality of both the look and feel great as always. (No change as far as I can see the 50 "TV), and the sound is crisp and clear. YPAO mic is soft in the middle of the room and tell. The metric system. Level is too easy, I think that the front is too stronger than the central channel.
SOUND: When the level is set correctly, Casino Royale sound good at first, before you turn the music louder than the dialogue and the more certain it is a bond that is formed after the explosion on the scene of action. After it opened and it was right where I wanted to go. And a subwoofer - I love the bass and this rocks! This is about half of my old Sony. Sounds a lot better. I just finished Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace, and the sound of a car chase was awesome. I look forward to creating a fund to re-watch, Transformers, Harry Potter and other movies.
Remote control: Since I have my system set up by the receiver, the Yamaha remote is a universal remote. I spent five years at the helm of Sony remote is great, big and need to press multiple keys on the remote control Yamaha if I want to go back and forth from one HDMI (PS3) and 2 HDMI (DirecTV). I can do with the push of a button - without TV, then press the Enter key. Up and down the TV to select the device. (Which can be up to four keys), I would say that there are a lot of buttons on the remote and intimidating to look at; The only person that has inputs on the top and the configuration and the arrow next to it in the middle.
SPEAKERS: Construction seems solid and is great! What's even better is the sound quality is outstanding out of them. The small but powerful.
I-POD INTERFACE: USB Love on the front of the receiver. I connected my iPhone to try it on, and you can select music, video, iTunes U, videos, and more when you bring that you can do with music and performances of the screen. Even the album art while tracks are playing.
FM RADIO: The only thing that I have a problem with the radio and I can not understand why. I have the FM antenna connector, but not in possession of a signal. I read that you can change the "mode", so I will try to UPDATE: After reading the disc to use, try pressing the "MODE" button on the remote, a button to change modes, FM for Mono and the Forum. MLB is about to come up with a fixed time.
Owners Manual: As with the other - a state-star review of the manual on the disk. I'd like to have the paper right in front of me so I can read the details. But overall, not Biggie.
I must say I feel bad for other reviews of this product from 2 January 2012 to power a speaker can reproduce my opinion that these speakers are not connected at the factory. While this is bad. In addition, I spent back and forth between different factors (HDMI 1 -> 2 HDMI -> HDMI 1) and I'm still experiencing the problem described in the comments. But I've just been working since last night.
The first impression is that this system is exceptional. I was very impressed by the overall quality of its low size, features, configuration options, etc. This is a product of the first Yamaha and I hope that when the system is up to the Sony, I did not. I would be very happy.
